PC MoBo’s have gotten easier to use with easy setup jumpers that makes installation a breeze. They usually come in the box pre-set to optimal settings and the manual has simple instructions, enough for medium techies to experiment enough to get the most of their recent purchase. Be sure to know what you’re doing and do ask questions or better yet get the shop to do the swap should you not know what a jumper block is.
Most PC boards have BIOS set optimal settings that can to some extent override hardware jumper settings. But just to be sure, leave the jumpers as they are unless you are doing some major tweaking such as overclocking.
